Rules and Rulebooks

CA State Championship Rules

1) This series is open to any racer holding an EXPERT license and who is at least 14 years of age by the date of the first race weekend. (If age is in question, a birth certificate will need to be shown for proof). Experts are only eligible at this time.

2) Racers will be subject to the rules and regulations of the club with which they are participating with on the event weekend. Each club's rule book is available on the club's website. Racers are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the rule books and motorcycle requirements ahead of event time.

3) Disputes- If a racer disputes the results of any race, they must do so according to the rules of the club they will be participating with that weekend. Once the club has finalized the results and they have been forwarded to me, they cannot be changed.

4) Racers need to show good sportsmanlike conduct while racing with clubs that aren't their "home" clubs. If a racer breaks club rules or does something that gets them disqualified from the event, the DQ will stand and they will not receive any points for that round.

5) Sign up for the CA State Championship must be done at least 2 weeks prior to an event date, with license fees paid.

6) It is the racers responsibility to register and pay the practice and entry fees for their individual races with the host club for the event weekend, and to do so per that club's rules (for pre-entry, post entry, etc). Please be advised that post entry for some events may not be allowed. Also be advised that all clubs utilize order of entries received to one of the influencing factors on the gridding of the races. **A link is provided for each club's website, and contact information for each club on the Tracks and clubs section of this website**

7) Racers must list the classes they wish to compete in for the State Championship on the CA State Championship registration form. Please list all classes you may want to compete in. Also be sure to sign up for contingency with the host club for the event weekend, and the CA State Championship, if it is a sponsor requirement.
